My power supply has failed. The green light on it still works but it doesn't send any charge to my Asus laptop. So basically I now have a $700 paperweight.
I had the same issue with my asus, the power plug issue started about a year after I got it. I managed to keep it going and lately it has gotten worse, just over night it must have lost the connection to the power cord and ran the battery out. I got it to come on for a moment but it wont stay connected long enough to recharge the battery. My computers and laptops have always lasted me a good 5-6 years cause I take care of them, but this one, though I loved it, I couldnt save. Its a crappy problem they should fix. It cant be fixed without opening the unit up and re-soldering.
